Goal:

Model, texture, and light a large indoor environment. Aiming to develop assets through more efficient methods such as: (1) using Houdini to proceduralize modeling efforts when beneficial, (2) taking advantage of Maya’s Bonus tools for foliage, and (3) creating reusable columns archways, and vaulted ceilings

Achievement:

Building a Desert Terrain from the ground up using a Houdini heightfield. Including creating masks and understanding how to use erosion to achieve the look of arid terrain.

Achievement:

Learning how to use LIDAR data within Houdini’s heightfield LIDAR import to be exported out into Unreal as Terrain
